Send DMARCS alerts to a Slack channel

Get the things that matter posted where your team already looks, instead of in an inbox nobody checks.

You will need

An incoming webhook URL from the Slack channel (create one under a Slack app's Incoming Webhooks feature)

Create the Slack webhook

1. Create a Slack app

   Go to api.slack.com/apps, click Create New App, choose From scratch, name it "DMARCS Alerts", and pick your workspace.

2. Turn on Incoming Webhooks

   Under Features, open Incoming Webhooks and toggle it on.

3. Add the webhook to a channel

   Click Add New Webhook to Workspace, pick the channel to post to, and authorize. Slack redirects you back with the URL listed under "Webhook URLs for Your Workspace".

Connect it to DMARCS

1. Open the Slack card

   Go to Integrations → Slack → Configure.

2. Paste the webhook URL

   It must be a hooks.slack.com/services/... address. Anything else is rejected.

3. Save Configuration

   The URL is encrypted at rest.

4. Test

   Click Test to send a real message into the channel. If nothing arrives, the webhook was likely created for a different channel or the app lost access to it.

5. Choose events

   Toggle which of these post to the channel: Policy Changes, New Vendors, Threat Alerts, Compliance Issues.
