BIMI Builder: publish BIMI in your own DNS
If you would rather keep your logo and certificate on your own servers and publish the record yourself, BIMI Builder writes the record for you and checks it against what's already in DNS. Unlike BIMI Inspector, it works with URLs, not file uploads.
- Where to find it
- Brand → BIMI Builder
- Enter your domain
- Enter your logo URL
A direct link to the SVG file on your web server, served over HTTPS.
- Enter your VMC URL (optional)
A direct link to the certificate file, if you have one.
- Copy the record
DMARCS builds it live as you type:
BIMI record- Type
TXT- Host
default._bimi- Value
v=BIMI1; l={logoUrl}; a={certUrl};
- Check for Conflicts
Click it to compare your new record against whatever is currently published at
default._bimi.yourdomain.com, so you don't end up with two. - Publish it at your DNS provider
BIMI Builder only advises. It shows you the record and flags conflicts, but you publish it yourself. It does not write DNS for you the way BIMI Inspector's hosted flow does.
