Open ConnectWise tickets automatically from DMARCS alerts
If your technicians live in ConnectWise, a DMARCS alert that only sends an email will get missed. This integration turns the alert into a ticket.
- Where to find it
- Organization → Integrations → ConnectWise PSA
- Who can use it
- Organization Admin
- Time needed
- 10 minutes
- You will need
- A ConnectWise API member with a public and private key, your Company ID, and your ConnectWise API base URL
- Open the ConnectWise section
It sits below the main integration cards on the Integrations page.
- Enter the connection details
- Base URL: your ConnectWise API URL, for example
https://api-na.myconnectwise.net/v4_6_release/apis/3.0. Use the region your instance is in (api-eu,api-auand so on). - Company ID, Public Key and Private Key. The private key is only required the first time; leave it blank on later edits to keep the stored one.
- Optionally Client ID, Board ID (which service board tickets land on) and Company Identifier.
- Base URL: your ConnectWise API URL, for example
- Switch it on
Tick Enabled. Tick Ticket on Alert if you want every DMARCS alert to open a ticket automatically.
- Test Connection
Confirms the credentials and base URL work before you rely on them.
Which alerts fire is controlled under Alerting. Start with a small set (DMARC Downgrade, Blacklist Hit, Cert Expiry) so your board isn't flooded, then widen it.
